Hello! Im Mafer, I studied Digital Design in Vancouver Canada. I started my professional career in advertising working on digital campaigns as a designer and strategist, later moving on to continue my education specializing in UX design and digital marketing. I worked in Canada for 6 years as a designer and project manager in various sectors like oil and gas, education and video games.

5 years ago I started my career finance in Citi Bank as a design manager for the Discovery Lab and working in the Innovation team as a product owner implementing various digital projects.

After the corporate world I became RappiPays (Mexican Fintech) first Head of Design with the challenge of hiring and scaling a design team while designing a product from scratch.

Today I work at Revolut as Head of design, managing a team of 50+ designers, making sure everyone has the right processes and skills to thrive and grow their careers.

Revolut had been amazing as its very flexible and has allowed me to work and travel, discovering the world is one of my biggest passions.
