Hello! 👋
I’m Arantxa, UX Strategist with more than 10 years of experience in the digital industry. I started as a Web designer in 2010 and then evolved and specialised in User Experience after realising that sometimes, the projects my colleagues and I were asked to develop, weren’t solving the real problems that users were facing.

After that realisation, I became passionate about finding the root problems, detangling complex challenges, and making users part of the process to create solutions that best suit their needs.

I’ve had the opportunity to work in tech, banking/fin-tech, video games, retail, and e-commerce companies that include Google, BBVA, Ubisoft, and most recently IKEA.

I’m certified in User Experience by the Nielsen Norman Group (Specialised in UX Management). I have specialisations in Design Thinking and Service Design by The Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design and certification in UX Management endorsed by the Interaction Design Foundation.

In my recent experience, I’ve been leading projects and managing teams where we approach the challenges with a user-centric perspective using problem-solving processes like Design Thinking which help us identify user pain points that can be translated into business opportunities.

On the personal level:
💪Passionate about mentoring and empowering others (especially women), to find their professional paths in tech and principally UX. I’ve participated as a mentor in different learning institutions and hackathons.

🎤 I love spreading the value of User Experience in different industries and planting seeds of interest in other people. I’ve participated in different podcasts, events, and conferences in Mexico, Colombia, and Sweden.

🤓 I’m a tech enthusiast interested in learning more about the emerging trends in different industries, such as computer science, robotics, automotive, astronomy, among many others (Never stop learning).

🎨 Besides my tech geeky side, I’m also an art nerd. Coming from an Arts school, I like the History of Art and its different expressions and applications.
