H1.cz is a great place to be and that's why I’ve been here for 14 years. It has been a professional and personal learning experience. I‘ve put a lot of effort into this company and I‘ve gotten a lot out of it. I built upon my university education by learning on the job at H1.cz, starting with the basics at a time when online marketing was beginning. I first learned how to budget and measure performance, to mix channels and to coordinate on-line marketing activities as an account manager; I next learned how to manage people and build a team while responding and reacting to stay competitive in a changing market as Head of UX and Analytics; finally, I learned financial control and played a leadership role through the transition that leads to the H1.cz merger with GroupM. The environment at H1.cz has developed me: 1. H1.cz offers soft skill training and has a management forum for open discussion of successes and failures. I have learned much from sharing experiences with colleagues and getting feedback from peers.
2. I attend all H1.cz public training and participate in courses given by colleagues or partners such as Facebook, Google, and Sklik.
3. H1.cz has made specialised training available to me. Most recently, I attended a 10-month leadership program by ATAIRU called Experienced Women, which helped balance being a manager and being a Mom. H1.cz has let me live my life the way I want to live it. H1.cz has always facilitated my personal development outside the workplace, offering flexible working hours, home office and extra holiday time. It has accommodated my personal circumstances, essential to me being a good mother – not only by allowing me to work from home but by making it possible for my son to be a part of my team in the workplace, when necessary. As Chief Operating Officer, I optimised internal processes and products based on best practices, took care of HR activities and education, while helping our people be better at what they do. At present my mission, as I see it, is to create the best environment for giving people the learning experience I have been happy to have at H1.cz. I'm always looking to grow my personal and professional network.
