I’m proud to say that, at Wunderman Thompson, we are committed to supporting women and pursuing a more equitable future where everyone has the opportunity to be who they want to be. So, I was inspired to take this question to women in our agency, to discover what their work means to them and find out what support they received here at Wunderman Thompson that made a significant difference in their career advancement.‍From technology to creative, from 1 year with the company to 14+, I sought out insights and advice from women who represent the full breadth of our business on a truly global scale. These talented women identified 6 key items that enabled them to pursue their goals and maximize their potential within our agency.

Zuzana Dobrovolná’s first experience with Femme Palette was as a participant of the Leadership program. Her positive experience with mentoring later led her to join the Coaching and Mentoring program, and in the end, she decided to become a mentor herself. As someone who has seen both sides of the mentoring relationship, Zuzana shares her highlights, takeaways, and more. 

Eva Proksova has had a unique career path. After her university studies, she joined law enforcement in the service for the citizens of the Czech Republic and later on, for several years, she served in peacekeeping operations abroad – international missions aimed at monitoring and developing the conflict or post-conflict areas. Her last deployment in Donbas, Ukraine, was terminated by the outburst of the currently ongoing war. As part of her tasks in the missions covered ESG issues, she decided to continue in this path and currently participates in corporate sustainability as an ESG HR Specialist in Fortuna Entertainment Group. In this interview, we explore the topic of ESG a bit further.

Imposter Syndrome is the term that we hear more often around us but do not necessarily understand. While some think they have never encountered it, others struggle with it daily. The truth is we are all imposters to some extent. The only difference is someone mastered the skill of overcoming the syndrome while others are just starting their journey of dealing with it. To better address the imposter syndrome, we need to understand what it is, who can suffer from it, and how to overcome it. 

At Femme Palette, we want to support women and other underrepresented group members in growing their careers and achieving their professional goals. It’s for this reason that we started our scholarship fund to provide financial support to selected participants in our Mentoring program. Mentees Nicole Martincova, Magdalena Morong, and Natalia Bondar are all scholarship recipients who decided to work on their professional development with their personal mentors. We asked them to tell us more about their goals and ambitions, as well as how they’ve benefited from mentoring so far.

On October 8th 2022, our Prague community gathered for the second annual Femme Palette conference. 250+ attendees enjoyed a full day of panel talks, presentations and workshops in the beautiful space of WPP Campus. Building and expanding on last year’s first Femme Palette conference, the 2022 program included a range of topics encountered by women in their careers.
